2. Overview

This website uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools and no advertising services. Fonts and images are served from this website's own server. External services (the booking calendar) are only loaded after you click.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA; represented in the EU by Cloudflare Germany GmbH). When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser and operating system information in order to deliver the website and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; a data processing agreement including EU Standard Contractual Clauses is also in place. 4. Storage in your browser

Without storing any personal data, the website saves two technical entries in your browser: a note for the current session so the intro animation only plays once (sessionStorage) and – only if you load the calendar – a note recording that choice (localStorage). The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, as this storage is necessary for the function you requested. You can delete these entries at any time in your browser settings.

5. Booking via Cal.com

I use Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., USA) for booking intro calls. The calendar only loads when you click "Load calendar"; no connection to Cal.com is made before that. The legal basis for loading it is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future by deleting this website's data in your browser.

When you book, Cal.com processes the data you enter (e.g. name, email address, selected time, notes and your answers to the three questions on the contact page) in order to arrange the appointment and send confirmations. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). Data may be transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or your consent. Booked appointments are also transferred to my Google Calendar (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). More information: https://cal.com/privacy

6. Contact by email

If you email me, I process your details in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Emails to @codegrey.dev are forwarded via Cloudflare Email Routing to a mailbox at Google (Google Ireland Limited). Your data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Links to Instagram

This website links to the CODEGREY.DEV Instagram profile. It is a simple link; data is only transferred when you click it. Meta Platforms Ireland Limited is responsible for data processing on Instagram.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent at any time. An informal email to hallo@codegrey.dev is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.

9. Encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption (recognisable by "https://" in the address bar).
